OUR PASSION FOR CATALAN DONKEYS
Our breed preservation project began 27 years ago when we decided to take in our first Catalan donkeys. Since then, our family farm has experienced steady growth, always with the aim of protecting and conserving this wonderful breed.
Over the years, we have worked on raising the youngest donkeys, ensuring they grow up in a safe and healthy environment. But our mission doesn't stop there; we have also dedicated efforts to preserving space for older donkeys, who deserve a place where they can enjoy their golden years in peace. Every step we take is aimed at guaranteeing the future of the breed, and our passion for this project drives us to keep moving forward, evolving and adapting to preserve and promote the legacy of the Catalan donkey.
And it's no coincidence that we're fans of this breed... The Catalan donkey has a familiar and friendly character, almost more like a dog than an animal of its own species.
Unlike other animals, you won't have to keep your distance; in fact, it will be impossible! Once you arrive at our meadows, they will all come to greet you and offer their company.
OUR HOME
Our farm is located in the Pallars Sobirà region (Lleida), a territory of wild nature, remote landscapes and protected species.
We are located next to the small and charming village of Escós, in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees.
