Description of the hike
The route is surrounded by agricultural-forestry spaces where ranchers and farmers supervise and work the field with their daily activities. So you will be able to learn about the feeding methods used by high mountain ranchers, you will surely be surprised!
This forest path is characterized by the accessories to the river, where you can rest and relax with the sound of the water going down the riverbed. In spring and summer, you will observe local sports such as rafting and kayaking.
This route is perfect to do with children between 1 and 12 years old since it does not require effort and its duration is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour 30.
As it is a circular route with little difficulty, you can start or finish by visiting the town of Sort. One of the largest population centers in the territory, which hides many mysteries and interesting facts, such as, for example, the "Camí de la Llibertat" (walk of liberty) museum-prison, which was formerly used as a prison in the Spanish civil war and which can currently be visited. The museum guide also offers the possibility of taking a guided tour of the town and seeing other places such as the castle, the main street full of local commerce, or the history of "el riuet", currently a children's park, where the flow of the Noguera Pallaresa river passed before.
