Hike description
The route begins in the town of Esterri d'Àneu, from where you can easily access a paved road that leads to Escalarre, a small, charming town where you can visit the Church of Sant Martí de Escalarre from outside , documented since the 14th century.
The path continues bordering the humid area of the swamp of Escalarre, allowing you to observe, at the different viewing points along the route, the diversity of birds and the typical vegetation of these ecosystems , where you can spot the fauna without disturbing it.
The trail continues around the swamp, returning to the starting point in Escalarre.
