Description of the hike

The route allows you to enjoy an impressive landscape in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees, in a high mountain area. It is a route that follows the Berasti River, whose waters jump down and leave jade green meadows in their wake.

The route offers an excellent natural environment, perfect for those looking to disconnect from the routine and enjoy the serenity of the mountain. Ideal for those who want a not very long but equally enriching excursion, with spectacular views and a quiet high mountain environment.

Lake Mainera is the largest of the neighboring lakes with a constant water level, since there is no type of hydroelectric exploitation, unlike other high mountain lakes in the area.

Mountain licorice predominates in this part of the region along other plants accustomed to existing under the snow, because most of the winter, these mountains are covered by a wide white blanket of snow.
